Monetary donations

“Why?”, you think. “Why should I give you any of my hard earned pennies?”. Well, the truth is, there’s absolutely no reason to. No reason in the whole wide world. At all. At the moment, my server costs are minimal to keep this thing running.

So why then? Why indeed. Well here are some honest answers

• I like receiving money. Who doesn’t? It makes me gleeful inside, even if someone has taken a couple of minutes out of their day to give me as little as 10p. It’s like being a busker on the street except without all of the hassle of having to sit on pavement or having any musical skill
• It encourages me. Whether or not this is a good thing remains to be seen, but monetary cash donations show me you care, and like a mewling little kitten, I’ll respond to this affection by opening up Flash and making even more stupid and frighteningly incomprehensible animations.
• I’ll draw you a picture. For reasonable cash sums, if you also ask nicely, I’ll happily sketch you a little doodle. Perhaps of a sad donkey, or a spaceship made of ham. Whatever takes your fancy.

So there you go, my lame-ass excuses as to why donations are good.
